Experienced Van Technician Required – Competitive Salary & Excellent Benefits
Our client, a well-established Highway Maintenance Company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Van Technician to join their team in the Larbert area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to develop their career within the automotive repair sector. The Van Technician role offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and ongoing training and development.
Benefits:
* Competitive basic salary up to £49,400 with an OTE of £53,000
* Monday to Friday working hours, 07:00 – 17:00
* Paid overtime at time and a half, including Saturday work
* Saturdays paid at x1.5
* Company van and mobile phone provided

Duties:
* Diagnose vehicle faults manually or using digital tools and software
* Prepare cost and time estimates for repairs and servicing
* Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts efficiently
* Refer complex repairs to specialists where necessary
* Maintain adequate stock of parts with assistance from the Stores team
* Liaise with Transport Managers to update vehicle records accurately
* Act as a mentor to Apprentices and work experience Technicians, sharing knowledge and skills
* Ensure high standards of vehicle safety, quality, and compliance at all times
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Van Technician preferred; relevant experience also considered
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude and proactive approach
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Willingness to undertake ongoing training to meet professional development requirements
* Relevant experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
