Van Driver / Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join one of our clients. This role involves the transportation of goods between our warehouse facilities and designated locations, as well as supporting warehouse operations as needed.
Salary: £11.76 p/h
Hours: 7 am - 4 pm Monday to Friday
Duties:
* Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to specified locations.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Load and unload goods onto the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
* Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van.
* Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
* Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
* Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
* Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience as a van driver or similar role.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
