Description:
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Newcastle area. We are looking for a dedicated van drivers to join the team on a part time basis.
Hours: Every Monday, 8am starts until approximately 4:30pm (with the opportunity to pick more shifts up during the week).
Pay Rate: £11.81 per hour PAYE.
Location: Newcastle, NE37.
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
· Transporting next day parcels to the hub in Warrington.
· Handballing and heavy lifting of parcels, ensuring safe and secure handling.
· Scanning parcels accurately to maintain shipment integrity.
· Loading and unloading parcels with care and attention to detail.
· Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
· A valid UK driver's license.
· Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
