3.5 Tonne Van Driver / Yard Operative
Full Time | Permanent
Our client , based between Boston and Spalding is looking for a reliable, hard-working person to join their team.
This is not a Class 1 or Class 2 role. You'll be driving a 3.5 tonne van, but you will need valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card along with a flexible, hands-on approach.
The Role
•Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect materials
•Collections and deliveries to platers, galvanisers and local customers
•Loading and unloading the vehicle
•Assisting with general yard duties when not out on deliveries
•Manual handling as part of the daily role
What We're Looking For
•Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
•Physically fit and happy with manual handling
•Reliable, trustworthy and able to work on your own initiative
•Good customer service skills
•Valid CSCS card would be an advantage
•Telehandler or Rough Terrain Forklift tickets would be beneficial but are not essential
