Professional Van Driver – Romford

Top Jobs Group is seeking a dependable and experienced Van Driver to join a dynamic operations team in Romford. As the face of the business, you will be responsible for collections at customer’s houses, therefore you will be the face of the company delivering excellent customer service.

Heavy Lifting is involved in this role.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Rate: £17.44ph

* Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours

* Temporary Role could go permanent

* Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am starts

* Contract: Temporary (40 hours per week)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Vehicle Oversight: Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and distributed.

* Manual Handling: Executing the loading and unloading of the vehicle (requires heavy lifting).

* Operational Admin: Completion of all essential collection and delivery paperwork.

* Customer Relations: Representing the brand professionally at every customer touchpoint.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Experience: Previous commercial van driving experience is essential.

* Physicality: High level of physical fitness to manage heavy objects and manual tasks.

* Compliance: Valid driver's license for a minimum of 1 year with no more than 3 penalty points.

* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
