Role: Van Driver
Location: St Albans, AL2
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am – 7:00pm. 40 hours per week.
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 per annum
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Van Driver to join our client's successful team.

Our client is a well-established events and logistics business providing equipment and support services to corporate clients, venues and suppliers across the UK. This is a varied opportunity combining driving and warehouse duties, with the chance to work with prestigious venues and clients across London and the wider UK.

Duties of a Van Driver:
Drive a long-wheelbase van to event venues, suppliers and corporate clients
Complete deliveries and collections primarily across Central London and the M25
Occasionally travel further afield throughout the UK
Load and unload event equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the company vehicle
Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and event staff
Assist with warehouse duties when not out on the road
Work closely with the operations team and other drivers to ensure jobs are completed successfully
What we would like from you:
Previous experience driving long-wheelbase or 3.5-tonne vehicles
Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Comfortable driving within Central London and the M25
Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Strong communication and customer service skills
Flexible approach to working hours and overtime
Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude
Warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential
