Description:

This position is to assist Royal Mail with their backlog of work and cover for holidays etc. There is the potential for this position to be on-going but that is solely reliant on the work levels of Royal Mail and your Performance. From scorching summer days to the depths of winter, postal workers play a vital role, delivering the mail. It’s a physically demanding job – but it’s one the nation relies on.

Job Responsibilities:

* Sort the mail/parcels for your route

* Check your vehicle and sometimes couple with a colleague for your round

* Spend between five and seven hours delivering mail/parcels outdoors per day

* Work shifts between the 08:30am – 5pm (this may fluctuate)

* Cover periods of leave for a fixed number of routes (so you’ll need to be a bit flexible on the location you go to)

Sunday £14.49 per hour
