Job Role: Property Valuer

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £29,000 – £30,000 (negotiated on experience) + Uncapped Commission (£33,000 – £35,000 OTE) + Incentives + Mileage Allowance + Pension

Hours: Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 & Saturdays: 09:00 – 13:00 (1 in 3)

Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Valuer to join a busy, high‑performing and well‑established independent firm of Chartered Surveyors & Estate Agents in Chesterfield. This role is ideal for someone looking to step up, take ownership of valuations, and play a key part in driving new business within a vibrant and diverse property market.

You will be joining a friendly but focused team in an estate agency setting, you will be given full training of systems, processes and company procedures upon joining the business, in a supportive environment. The opportunity to work in a vibrant, busy and successful branch, with exposure to a wide and varied property portfolio, plus clear progression opportunities

Responsibilities & Duties:

* Conduct accurate, well‑presented property valuations

* Secure new instructions through confident communication and rapport‑building

* Provide expert pricing advice and tailored marketing recommendations

* Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors

* Represent the brand professionally during all client interactions

* Generate new business opportunities and contribute to branch growth

* Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards

Ideal Candidate:

* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Valuer / Lister or Senior Negotiator with valuation exposure

* Proven track record of winning instructions

* Strong understanding of the local Chesterfield market (or ability to quickly build this)

* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

* Self‑motivated, target‑driven and commercially aware

Necessities for the role:

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

* Able to work 1 in 3 Saturdays
