Job title: UX Researcher
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: There will be 3 phases of testing over the course of 2024, the first being conducted beginning of June, second end of August, and another at the end of October. Each phase will be approximately 3 weeks full time
Responsibilities
Guerrilla Testing Programme
Conduct a series of guerrilla testing phases internally on behalf of the UX team
Three phases scheduled over 2024: June, August, and OctoberTest Preparation
Prepare scripts, artifacts, recruitment criteria, and segmentation
This preparation phase will take place in the first week of each testing phaseTesting Phase
Conduct and moderate 30-minute tests with approximately 15 respondents
Recruit participants fluidly throughout the day for each 30-minute slot
This testing phase will take place in the second week of each testing phaseAnalysis and Reporting
Analyze, synthesize, and report findings from the tests
This phase will take place in the final week of each testing phaseConsistent Testing Approach
Ideally, the candidate will conduct all three phases of testing throughout 2024 to minimize domain knowledge uptake.
Ability to flexibly plan other contracts around each test sprint.Comfort with Tobacco Product Testing
Test a tobacco-related product.
Must provide unbiased insights and have a full understanding of qualitative test methods.Collaboration
Liaise with the wider UX product design team.
Test artifacts for key measurements and KPIs including intuitiveness, comprehension, pleasurability, and intended mental models.
Qualifications
Experience:
Experience in conducting UX research, preferably in a similar testing environment.
Familiarity with guerrilla testing methods.Flexibility
Ability to flexibly plan other contracts around each testing sprint.Comfort with Tobacco Products
Comfortable conducting research on a tobacco-related product.
Ability to provide unbiased insights.Qualitative Research Skills
Strong understanding of qualitative research methods.
Ability to analyze and synthesize findings effectively.Collaboration
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly with UX product design.
This role requires someone who can efficiently plan, execute, and analyze UX research, particularly in a fast-paced, iterative testing environment. It also demands comfort with testing potentially sensitive products and the ability to provide unbiased insights
