About the role

We're looking for an experienced User Researcher who can combine strong research skills with confident stakeholder management, client communication and presentation skills.

This role goes beyond conducting research. You'll need to confidently present findings, explain your approach and the evidence behind your recommendations, and facilitate workshops that bring stakeholders together and influence project direction.

Lead user research across discovery, design and delivery using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, influencing decisions through research and evidence.
Present research findings, project outcomes and recommendations, clearly explaining challenges, insights and impact.
Plan and facilitate workshops to explore problems, challenge assumptions and agree next steps.
Collaborate within agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside designers, developers and product managers.
Translate user insights into practical recommendations that improve products and services.

What we're looking for

Hands-on User Research experience across the product or service life cycle.
Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
Demonstrable experience presenting research, explaining findings and influencing decisions.
Experience facilitating workshops and communicating with different audiences.
Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of GDS standards and design principles.
A portfolio demonstrating how your research influenced decisions and outcomes.
A consultative or client-facing background would be beneficial.

Why join?

Join a growing Digital Customer Experience practice, working alongside researchers, designers and technologists on complex transformation projects, with opportunities for professional development and progression.

Security Check (SC) clearance is required. Applicants must meet the relevant eligibility criteria, including 5 years of continuous UK residency. Additional nationality and security requirements may apply to certain roles.

If you're confident presenting research, engaging clients and turning evidence into meaningful action, we'd love to hear from you
