Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to autistic pupils, aiding in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies under the guidance of special education teachers.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.
Assist with sensory regulation techniques and activities to support students' sensory needs.
Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to ensure continuity of care and support for each student.
Key Requirements:

Experience working with autistic individuals in an educational or care setting.
Understanding of autism spectrum disorder and familiarity with strategies for supporting autistic learners.
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and families.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in a dynamic environment.
Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent, preferred but not essential.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) and eligibility to work in the UK.
