Upholstery Machinist Required
Based in Ilkeston.

Then we would like to hear from you!
We are inviting applications from experienced upholstery machinist who have the skills to be able to tack a variety of models as part of a team on a fast-paced production line.
Hours of Work: Monday: Thursday
Salary: £14.66 per hour.
The Job
Machining of various types of fabric according to specification; whilst meeting production and quality standards.
The Person
The successful candidate will:
A High degree of machining skills, including lockstitch, overlock, welting, twin needle and top stitch.
A strong eye for detail and quality with the ability to pattern match fabrics and ensure seam sizes are matched.
Previous experience of using a DURKOPP Adler machine or similar.
Previous experience of sewing upholstery including caravan seats, backrests, scatters and bolsters.
A strong machining background with a keen eye to detail.
Be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Demonstrate reliability and be able to work as part of a team.
Committed to achieving the targets of the department whilst working safely and in full compliance with the health and safety requirements of the department.
