Our schools in Halstead are committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with SEN. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Unqualified SEN Teacher to join our team and help us create inclusive and nurturing learning environments where all students can thrive.
The Role:
As an Unqualified SEN Teacher, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff and SENCOs to provide targeted support and interventions to students with SEN. Your responsibilities will include delivering lessons, assisting with classroom activities, implementing individual education plans (IEPs), and providing pastoral care and support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons and activities tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs to develop and implement support plans for students.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in a supportive environment.
- A passion for working with students with SEN and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
