Role: Unit Manager Role
Location: Near Highbridge, Somerset
Salary: £40 000 - £45 000 per annum plus benefits
Hours: Mon – Fri (7:30am - 3:30pm)
Exciting Opportunity: Seeking a Unit/Production Manager
Join a thriving company specialising in ambient and chilled breakfast foods, where growth and internal development are prioritized. We're on the lookout for a proactive individual to oversee the site’s production function and ensure adherence to company standards and legislation while meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Roles and responsibilities
* Looking for someone to look after the entire production process. Ensure production is completed in the most efficient way.
* Look after 3 operatives on site. You will have to manage, train, and support the production team.
* Ensure that the reporting of daily and weekly KPIs is completed.
* Keep up to date with regulations regarding all aspects of health and safety aswell as reporting any nonconformances raised.
* Ensure all HSE, Quality and Food safety requirements are met.
* Manage all equipment and raw materials.
* Help company achieve SALSA accreditation. (Ensure site audit readiness)
Requirements
* Previous Managerial or supervisory experience in a Food production environment.
* Experience helping a team achieve KPIs.
* HACCP qualification
* Understanding of Salsa or BRC
* Awareness of health and safety
