Job Role – UX Visual Design Champion

Reporting to the Studio Lead the UX Visual Design Champion will drive the UX Organisation’s primary objective in helping to continuously evolve and mature the UX Practice and Experience Design, by being the Visual Design Champion, who oversees and ensures all programmes and products that have UX resource in them, are following visual design best-practice and adhering to the company brand and global design system.

Duties – UX Visual Design Champion

• Drive the UX Organisation’s primary objective in helping to continuously evolve and mature the UX Practice and Experience Design.
• Oversee and ensure all programmes and products that have UX resource in them, are following visual design best-practice and adhering to the company brand and global design system.
• Oversee and provide visual design governance, help facilitate discussions, and ensures accountability, as well as drive visual design consistency across all programmes and products.
• Ensure all product specific style guide, component and pattern needs are considered, aligned, and executed with our global design system principles and solutions in mind.
• Work within our multi-disciplinary product teams, alongside other Designers, Developers, Architects, Product Managers and subject matter experts, to execute the interaction and visual design requirements needed to deliver experiences that meet real human needs.
• Support creating all experiences a customer and user interacts with.

Experience/Qualifications – UX Visual Design Champion

• Effective Communicator
• Understanding of UX Project Management
• Visual Design experience
• UX Research Skills

Candidates who are currently an UX Design Lead, Visual Design Lead, UX/UI Design Lead, UX Design Advocate, Design Systems Lead, Creative Design Lead, UX Design Specialist, Lead UX Designer, Principal UX Designer, Senior UX Designer, User Interface Design Lead, Design Thinking Champion, Design Lead, Head of UX Design and User-Centred Design Lead suitable for this position.
