UK Logistics Contract Manager
Hybrid home working but requirements to be in Slough and South Yorkshire

Jackson Hogg are delighted to have partnered up with a leading FMCG and retail business who require a Logistics Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Purpose
We will look to you to oversee the contract management for warehouse and transport functions for the UK as well as ensure both present and future service provision requirements are in place to meet strategic needs.

Job Responsibilities

* Achieve KPI targets linked to service/quality/cost.

* Effective contracts management of large contract, logistics service providers

* Ensure effective distribution of finished goods to customers.

* Manage Logistics Service Provider partnerships to deliver core KPIs and cost benefit initiatives.

* Develop & nurture strong ‘one team’ working relationship with primary supply partner.

* Allocate resources to optimise effectiveness of operations.

* Identify & oversee delivery of continuous improvement projects.

* Participate in Cross Cluster and or Cross Deco UK Projects.

* Lead organisation to deliver transformational Logistics projects

* Nurture stakeholder relationships

Job Requirements

* Experience of inspiring & motivating teams in warehousing/logistics environments.

* Experience of managing a large budgets

* Ambitious and self-motivated to drive cost reduction targets and improve service.

* Contract management experience

* Effective at nurturing supplier partner relationships.

* In-depth knowledge of managing complex logistics operations that are compliant and safe.

* Significant experience in a senior logistic operations management role covering both warehouse and transport operations.

* Development of performing supplier partnerships through focus on KPIs and SLA management

* Management and delivery of large transformation projects

* A self starter, confident in making informed decisions with passion for operational excellence.
