The company now have an exciting opportunity for a UK Business Development Manager.

The Role

The UK Business Development Manager will spearhead the company's sales efforts across the UK, promoting and selling their range of high efficiency Burners to OEMs and End Users across a range of critical Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

* Identify sales growth opportunities across the UK and develop business strategies to capture new business.

* Establish relationships within the industry and with existing and new key OEMs, End-Users, Distributors, and Value-Added Resellers.

* Attend selective industry trade shows, exhibitions, innovation workshops, trade forums, etc., to establish new business contacts and add to potential client database.

* Develop application knowledge in combustion and burner control, allowing you to educate prospects and customers on the value of the offering.

* Support the development of customer design and technical specifications.

* Develop an understanding of target customer and prospect profiles, applications, needs, problems, and expectations while also being aware of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) and the current state of the business in target regions.

* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of the high efficiency burner solutions.

* Capture and communicate the voice of customers across the organization.

* Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams to define priorities and go-to-market strategies.

* Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities while adjusting strategies accordingly.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements (Basic Qualifications):

* BSc/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar

* Experience in solution sales selling technical products (this can be mechanical, electrical, or fluid technical products) for industrial applications.

* Experience supporting OEMs and End Users across Industries such as Food & Drink, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Power Generation, Energy from Waste and Marine

* Knowledge of Combustion and Burners an advantage but not essential

* Well versed in both business development and key account management

* Proven ability to establish and grow customer relationships.

* Experience working independently and to effectively collaborate with a diverse multi-disciplinary team.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Prior business development experience.

* Knowledge of Combustion and Burner systems

* Ambitious, self-starting, and motivated attitude; willingness to learn, ability to manage time and priorities.

* Technical understanding of burners, boilers, and/or flares.

* Experience using CRM, including reporting.

This is a full-time position that can be based anywhere in the UK.
