What is involved?

In support of the UK & Europe business strategy, the Marketing & Communications Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery and day to day implementation of our various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
We’re looking for a highly organised individual with exceptional attention to detail and a strong desire to develop their professional experience in marketing and communications. Training and professional development will be available as part of our investment in people approach.
We need an excellent writer who understands the importance of embedding our core messages consistently across brand, social media, PR and marketing campaigns and you’ll be given exposure to a wide range of tactical activities, including:
Social media
Copywriting
Events coordination
Internal communications
Direct mail
Brand and design
PR
Planning and deliveryThe role supports both internal and external communications and you will work with our two UK & Europe Marketing Campaign Managers and the UK & European Associate Director, reporting into the Marketing Campaign Manager.  The UK and Europe marketing team is part of a wider global marketing team, and you will work closely with colleagues worldwide.
Responsibilities will include:

Working with the UK & Europe Marketing Campaign Managers to support   delivery of marketing, communications and brand-led tactical activities
Delivering internal communications initiatives, such as, developing news stories, managing intranet updates, webinars and sending region-wide e-mails
Managing the e-marketing campaign management tool and reporting, Mail Chimp, and leading development of the bi-monthly internal Newsletter to all our staff based in UK & Europe
Supporting CSR and DEI initiatives and managing internal engagement across the firm
Ownership of the invoice and budget tracking process, managing payments and monthly budget alignment
Identifying areas of tailored added value to raise the company profile and brand awareness
Working with our in-house designer to produce collateral including capability statements, presentations, brochures and social media content – contributing to drafting content, messaging, format and design in line with established brand guidelines
Supporting the Group marketing team with LinkedIn & Instagram news, writing posts and monitoring metrics
Leading the monthly Marketing Board Reports for the Regional Managing Directors
Other duties and tasks or projects as required.Role Requirements:

Experience of working in a marketing and communications team, either in-house or agency-side
A growth mindset, passionate about marketing and internal communications
Excellent writing skills, with superb attention to detail
Highly organised and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
A team player with the drive to succeed and learn new skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Undergraduate university degree and / or experience in marketing and communications
Working towards a professional qualification e.g. CIM, IDM, CIPR
Experience of SharePoint and InDesign an advantage, but not essential
Work experience within the built environment, or curious to learn more about our industry.About our Marketing & Communications Team
