Description:
We are looking for a customer focused and practical individual to join our Marketing team. The successful candidate will provide a first class tyre technical and advisory service to all customers of the Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC), whilst also providing merchandising / event support on behalf of the Pirelli Marketing team.
Whilst in the PPC, working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will provide a comprehensive tyre fitting service to all visitors, in addition to providing specific advise on Pirelli products and services, along with ensuring all H&S and quality standards are achieved.
When focusing on Merchandiser activities, the successful candidate will support with the distribution and branding of Pirelli products within the tyre retail network (merchandising) in the South of the UK (generally from Lincolnshire downwards). This can include delivery and installation of Pirelli signage, distribution of leaflets and delivery of flags and point of sale to key customers.
Event support and attendance will include transporting the required equipment. setting up of the display areas, covering the hospitality facilities and manning the Pirelli simulator as and when required
This is a great opportunity to join our team in a varied role. We are looking for someone who is well presented, and comfortable in dealing and communicating with people at all levels, both internally and externally. A positive and adaptable attitude to work is also a requirement, along with full flexibility. Customer facing experience is therefore essential.
Due to the nature of the role, basic DIY skills are essential (merchandiser activities will typically include using a drill and other related accessories) together with a full clean and valid UK driving licence. Whilst experience within the tyre fitting industry is advantageous it isn’t essential, as we can provide comprehensive training.
Salary for the role will be £25,000 pa. Core working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm, but due to the nature of the role, flexibility will be required. A Pirelli liveried van will be provided for business mileage only for merchandising activity, and it is the post holders responsibility to ensure the van remains in full working order
