We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Tyre Fitter for their independent garage in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. Excellent working hours with a healthy work-life balance, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, plus rota’d Saturday morningsDuties of the Tyre Fitter:
Fitting and replacing tyres on a range of vehicles
Carrying out wheel balancing and puncture repairs
Performing wheel alignment checks and adjustments
Inspecting tyres and advising customers on tyre condition and needs
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently to the highest standards
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Assisting with general workshop duties as requiredRequirements of the Tyre Fitter:
Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or Fast Fit Technician
Full UK driving licence
Knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing, and repair procedures
Experience with wheel alignment equipment is desirable
Strong communication and customer service skills
