SEND Tutor
At Powertutors we provide support for children and their families ensuring continuing educatuonal access foir shildren unable to attend mainstream schools. Working with the local authority, we match tutors with students requiring support - ensuring both a profesisonak and pastoral fit ensuring goals for development are identified and supporting tutors to ensure quality throughout our services.
About the Role
You’ll work with students on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored support that helps them grow in confidence and thrive in their learning. Whether you’re an experienced SEND Teacher, Teaching Assistant, or Tutor, this flexible and rewarding role lets you make a real difference — on your schedule.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
* Work on a one-to-one basis to help students grow in confidence.
* Deliver meaningful and personalised education.
* Focus on teaching with minimal administrative tasks.
Qualifications
* Experienced in supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH).
* Background as a Tutor, SEN Teacher, or Teaching Assistant.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS (or happy to apply for one).
