A well-established manufacturing business in Salisbury is looking for a Bending Machine Setter & Operator to join its production team, setting and running bending machines to meet customer quality, cost, and delivery targets.

As a Bending Machine Setter & Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Setting and operating a range of bending machines to produce production batches
Measuring parts accurately in line with company procedures and methods
Using bend checking fixtures correctly and maintaining quality standards
Following start-up procedures and keeping equipment safe and tidy
Maintaining tooling and identifying any damage or remedial work needed
Following safe working procedures and reporting any safety issues immediately
As a Bending Machine Setter & Operator, your experience will include:

Proven experience setting and operating bending machines, or similar press/CNC machinery
Confident measuring parts and working to tight tolerances
Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes
Comfortable following safe working procedures in a manufacturing environment
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team
