Do you get a thrill from being outdoors and working with nature? We are seeking an adventurous experienced and safety-conscious Tree Team Groundsperson to join our crew of tree-mendous professionals! Imagine spending your days in the fresh air, planting trees, maintaining greenery, and ensuring our communities stay lush and beautiful.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planting new trees and shrubs
- Assisting with tree removals, pruning and debris disposal
- Carrying out maintenance tasks to keep our sites tidy and hazard-free
- Maintaining equipment like tools, ropes, harnesses, and PPE
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Reporting any issues, defects, or hazards promptly
- Supporting with traffic management when required
- Delivering excellent service and living our company values
To climb the branches of success in this role, you’ll need:
· City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting, or equivalent
· City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Woodchipper & Maintenance or equivalent
· First Aid qualification is desirable, however training will be given
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Good tree and shrub knowledge
· A full UK driving licence
This is a full time, permanent role based in and around Birmingham, Worcester, and surrounding areas.
