Description:

Our client is a local authority in Bedfordshire. They have a busy tree section and are looking to employ an additional Tree Officer to carry out a tree planting project.
The role will be to help deliver the Councils tree planting programme which will include both urban and woodland settings. You will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of the project; from the implementation stage of finding suitable land , stakeholder communications, purchasing of trees , planting and the aftercare programme.
Candidates ideally should have prior technical experience either as a Tree Officer or Tree Inspector and hold a level three qualification in arboriculture . However, candidates who have experience within Arboriculture, with a Level 3 qualification in Arb and who are looking for their first technical role will also be considered.
The position is expected to last for 20 months . A pay rate of circa £19.23 PH PAYE for a 37 hour week plus 28 days holiday (inc banks) is offered
