£43,000 – £47,000 | Hybrid | St Paul’s, London
Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a role that offers a little more variety than traditional transactional finance?
I’m working with a leading international organisation looking for a Treasury & Process Assistant to join their Finance team, based in the St Paul’s area of London.
This is a great opportunity for someone with around 5–7 years’ experience in Finance, Treasury support, Finance Operations or a banking back-office environment, who enjoys working with numbers, systems and processes.
What are we looking for? You’ll ideally have:
5–7 years’ experience in a similar Finance, Treasury, Finance Operations or Banking Operations role
Strong SAP experience – this is a key requirement
Good Excel and general IT skills
Strong numerical and analytical ability
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience working with payments, banking or financial processes
An understanding of financial controls and processes
A practical, problem-solving approach with the ability to investigate and resolve issues
Good communication skills and the confidence to work with internal teams, banks and other stakeholders What will you be doing? Working as part of the Finance team, you’ll support the smooth running of day-to-day treasury and back-office operations, including:
Processing payments and receipts, including payment runs and manual payments
Supporting FX (foreign exchange) back-office activities
Maintaining customer bank information within SAP
Processing expenses and other finance-related activities
Monitoring daily finance and treasury operations and resolving issues where required
Supporting outsourced finance operations and ensuring processes are completed accurately
Helping identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes
Supporting the implementation of new and improved procedures
Maintaining appropriate financial controls and monitoring processes
Preparing reports and supporting regular reviews of banking and cash management arrangements
Keeping up to date with developments in treasury technology, processes and regulations Treasury experience would be advantageous, but candidates from Finance Operations or banking back-office environments with the right experience will also be considered.
