Are you working in Transport now and think that you aren’t going anywhere fast then please read on as my client has the perfect opportunity of the right individuals. The company are a successful and growing business based north of Bicker and are looking to recruit an additional Transport Supervisors on a full-time permanent basis after recently successfully recruiting the same position but due to business growth and a restructuring to make the business more efficient they have created an additional position. The shift pattern will be rotation earlies and then lates so 4am till 12pm and then 12pm till 8pm. The work pattern is one week Monday to Friday and the second week is Tuesday to Saturday (so 4 days off every 2 weeks but 3 days one weekend and then 1 day the other weekend). However if two candidates are happy to work permanent earlies and one permanent lates then of course this will be considered.
This is a busy role where you will take responsibility for the drivers, their welfare, build trusting relationships(including regular contact to help them do there day to day jobs but also help them if any problems occur) KPI reporting, excellent customer service skills when dealing with customers as well, investigations when needed, Continuous improvement of the department and so much more. Early shift deals ion gett8ng everything out and the afternoon shift requires debriefs, and ensuring next day outputs.
