Transport Planner - Thatcham - Up to £42k
Our client, a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy based in West Berkshire, is seeking a Transport Planner to join them in their Thatcham office.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of transport plans and strategies. With a focus on Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and people.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing transport plans and strategies
Preparing Transport Statements and Assessments
Creating Travel Plans to promote sustainable transport options
Analysing transport data and identifying improvement opportunities
Liaising with stakeholders to gather information and address concerns
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated transport solutions
Providing expert advice and guidance on transport planning matters
Keeping up to date with industry regulations and best practices
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in Transport Planning
Strong knowledge of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans
Understanding of sustainable transport principles
Proficiency in analysing transport data and using relevant software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable
