Transport Administrator / Transport Planner, Salary: Up to £24k + 33 days holiday inc bank holidays, pension, life insurance and career development opportunities. Based: Avonmouth, Bristol working Monday to Friday
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator / Transport Planner to work for a leading hire business,. As a Transport Administrator / Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective transportation of modular buildings and structures. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating transportation routes, optimising delivery schedules, and managing logistical operations to meet customer requirements while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with transportation regulations. The role requires excellent communication skills, to be able to effectively communicate with customers, transport providers and internal stakeholders.
Applicants should have previous experience as a Transport Planner / Transport Administrator or similar with the ability and experience to plan and schedule transport vehicles efficiently and effectively, with good geographical knowledge, a good level of skill in Microsoft Office products, and an understanding and knowledge of current regulations in regarding to Working Time Directive and Driver’s Tachograph restrictions. Experience of lorry loader / HIAB transport would be an avantage.
