Location: Thatcham
Salary: £30,000/£35,000
Penguin Recruitment are currently working with Stuart Michael Associates (SMA), an established multidisciplinary consultancy delivering infrastructure, transportation and environmental projects for public and private-sector clients across the UK. They are looking to appoint a Transport Planner to join their growing team.
The Role
Working on a varied portfolio of transport and infrastructure projects
Providing transport planning advice to public and private-sector clients
Supporting the preparation of transport assessments, statements and related technical reports
Working collaboratively with engineers, planners and other technical professionals
Contributing to practical and innovative transport solutions
Developing client relationships and supporting project deliveryRequirements
Experience within transport planning or a relevant graduate-level background
A relevant degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline
Good understanding of transport planning principles and the UK planning process
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
A proactive approach with a willingness to develop professionally
CIHT/CILT membership or progression towards professional membership would be advantageousBenefits
