Responsibilities:
As a skilled Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring seamless transportation and on-time deliveries. Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategically planning fleet routes to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
Efficiently managing customer requests, job allocation, and providing necessary instructions.
Staying updated on transport issues and adeptly managing changes in daily schedules.
Effectively communicating fleet availability and addressing issues to the entire team.
Collaborating with drivers and colleagues to guarantee punctual deliveries.
Maintaining regular communication with customers, providing accurate ETA updates.
Pre-briefing and debriefing drivers on their daily runs to optimize performance.
Recording delivery status and addressing discrepancies in systems as needed.
Swiftly troubleshooting critical transport-related issues as they arise.
Requirements:
