Experienced Transport Planner? Looking for career progression? If you are keen to utilise your current skillset overseeing a team of Transport Planners with a view to move into Transport Management, keep reading.
Do you have a background in Logistics and want to progress your career? If you are a Transport Coordinator, Planner or Scheduler and would like to gain UK Planning experience, this could be an ideal role for you.
Working within a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly efficient transport operation that focuses on exceeding their customers expectations and giving the highest levels of customer service.
If you enjoy a challenge and have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff into progressive opportunities moving forward.
The Role:
Oversee daily/weekly work schedule and routing
Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently
Manage Driver & Vehicle compliance, training and development
Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintainedYou will need:
Previous Transport Planning Experience
Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
