Description

The Transport Planner duties and responsibilities are:

Planning and coordinating daily transportation operations
Optimising routes for maximum efficiency
Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
Communicating with drivers and customers to keep them informed of delivery times
Resolving any issues or delays in the transport process
Monitoring and reporting on transport costs
Keeping accurate records of transport activities
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the logistics departmentProfile

A successful Transport Planner should have:

Experience in a similar role within the transport and distribution industry
Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
