What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Transport Planner, you will be:
·Managing and delivering transport planning projects across a variety of development schemes.
·Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
·Undertaking junction capacity assessments and analysing traffic data.
·Liaising with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
·Providing technical input into planning applications and development proposals.
·Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
·Contributing to business development activities and helping to maintain strong client relationships.
·Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
This Senior Transport Planner role provides the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while developing your technical and commercial expertise.
Skills and Experience Required
To be considered for this Senior Transport Planner position, you should have:
·Experience within transport planning, particularly in development planning.
·A good understanding of the UK planning process and relevant transport guidance.
·Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
·Knowledge of junction modelling and traffic analysis techniques.
·Strong report writing and communication skills.
·The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
·Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be advantageous.
·Membership of a relevant professional institution or working towards chartership would be beneficial.
