Transport & Operations Shift Manager

Location: Huntingdon
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 DOE
Hours: Rotating shifts Mon-Fri

Summary:
Are you an experienced and motivated Transport Supervisor with a CPC looking for an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics environment? This multi-drop operation calls for a driven individual with supervisory experience gained within a busy transport function. Working closely with the senior management team, you will ensure a customer-centric and financially efficient operation is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily transport and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Lead, coach and develop the team.
Allocate fleet and crews to correct routes.
Ensure briefing and de-briefings are undertaken for all transport and warehouse movements.
Manage your teams performance and ensure relevant information is recorded for your KPIs.
Manage drivers' hours in line with working time legislation.
Key Skills/Experience:

Previous experience at Supervisor level or equivalent within a FMCG operation.
Transport Manager CPC is essential.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of transport legislation.
Proficiency in transport management systems and route planning software.Processing Your Data
