TRANSPORT OFFICE CLERK
We have an exciting role for a Transport Office Clerk working with one of the world's biggest logistics providers in conjunction with one of the world's best-known prestige car brands. We are looking for a hard-working, ambitious, and flexible individual with a solid work history and strong work ethic. Based in Erdington or Solihull, however, you may be required to work at other Birmingham sites
This is an on-going agency position with the potential of becoming permanent in the future.
Salary
£32,389pa (37.5 hrs pw) - £16.61 ph
Hours of work:
Rotating
Week 1 2pm-10pm
Week 2 6am-2pm
Week 3 10pm-6am
Days of work:
Monday to Friday
The role:
Greeting drivers at start of shift, handing out keys and paperwork, checking details
Transport industry experience is essential
Tracking vehicles en-route, reporting any delays, time changes or problems to senior staff.
Talking to drivers en route and checking load description
De-brief at the end of shift, take back keys and paperwork.
Driver and vehicle management
Answer any driver queries
Download driver digicard
Other duties as required
Infringement management
Data entry
Required:
Transport industry (or similar) experience is essential
Ability to work a 3-shift system (mornings/afternoons/nights)
Stable work history
Excellent work ethic
Flexible attitude
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word/Excel) - ESSENTIAL
Must be able to travel to Solihull or Edrington
Own transport preferred
