Description:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review test certification against relevant industry standards and client specifications as required.
* Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers in order to facilitate a first-class service to all existing and potential customers of Quality, Stock, Service and Reliability.
* Assist the Warehouse Manager with planning and coordination of warehouse activities in relation to workload, company objectives and set targets. Ensuring cover in place to deal with other staff members duties when members are absent due to holidays or illness.
* Monitoring capacity capabilities and liaising with Warehouse Manager and General Manager for future requirements.
* Raising non-conformances as required.
* Work with relevant staff to ensure any NC’s relating to the Warehouse are processed and closed out in a timely manner.
* Briefing Expediting staff on a daily basis.
* Provide on the job training and guidance to expediting
* Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
* Seek to continuously improve internal communications and relationships across the organisation in order to facilitate a first-class service to all existing and potential customers.
* Assist in establishing, promoting and continuously improving the QHSE cultures in the work environment.
* Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to the Warehouse Manager.
* Work with QA/QC Officer to review opportunities for improvement identified and implement changes and improvements to the processes and systems.
* Carry out regular expediting meetings.
* Job Training and guidance on systems and products to enable warehouse inspection department to carry out their role.
* Attend company meetings as and when necessary.
* Maintaining company delivery vehicles, arranging servicing, MOT;s etc.
