Role:
* Reporting to the General manager and working closely with the Customer Services Manager you will manage the complete transport / logistics operation.
* This a broad role responsible for every aspect of the transport / logistics operation, from customer to driver, with demanding profit and growth targets.
* You will be a leader who inspires teams to push the limits and achieve great things.
* You will lead improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* You will identify issues negatively affecting performance and implement corrective action plans to resolve.
* This is a leadership role, requiring engagement and coaching to improve performance.
Skills / experience required:
* You must have some record of achievement in a transportation / logistics environment.
* You will have the motivation and ambition to continue to achieve and progress.
* You will be a leader who inspires those around you and encourages excellence.
* High volume / fast paced operations experience is preferable.
* Customer experience is preferable.
Remuneration:
£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus (15%) + Pension
