Transport Customer Account Manager
Location: Aston, Birmingham - you will also spend 2 days in Tamworth
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Are you an experienced transport or logistics professional with a passion for customer service and building strong relationships?
We're looking for a Transport Customer Account Manager to join a busy, fast-paced transport operation in Aston. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised individual who can coordinate daily transport requirements, resolve operational challenges and deliver outstanding customer service.
The Role
Manage daily customer transport volumes, ensuring requirements are planned and communicated effectively.
Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, updates and service issues.
Liaise with transport operations and planning teams to resolve challenges and maintain service levels.
Monitor transport movements and proactively keep customers informed.
Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records on transport management systems and produce reports using Microsoft Excel.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Experience in container logistics, maritime transport or transport planning would be advantageous.
