Are you an experienced Transport Coordinator looking for your next opportunity?
We're recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join an established environmental and recycling operation in Nottingham.
THE TRANSPORT COORDINATOR ROLE
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating daily transport activities and vehicle movements in Nottingham.
• Supporting the planning and scheduling of collections.
• Working with drivers on schedules, changes and debriefs.
• Monitoring vehicle & driver availability.
• Producing reports and maintaining accurate operational information.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
In this Transport Coordinator in Nottingham role you don't necessarily need to have worked in the waste industry, but transport is essencial.
We're looking for someone who is:
• Confident communicating with drivers, managers, customers and suppliers.
• Good at keeping accurate records and following things through.
• Able to work calmly in a fast-paced transport environment.
• Ideally experienced with vehicle maintenance, defects, servicing or MOT administration.
