Hours: 42.5 hours per week

What you'll be doing;
Maintaining a safe and compliant fleet of 17 HGV vehicles.
Ensuring all related legislation is complied with, including servicing frequencies, driver hours, ADR etc. As well as overall responsibility for internal and external fleet audits.
HR Management of 15 HGV Drivers.
Nominated on the Scottish Traffic Area Operator's licence.
Provide support to the Business Management team with special projects (continuous improvements, optimization, efficiencies etc.).
You will have overall responsibility for the maintenance budget.
Ideally you will be able to cover HGV driving duties if required.
What we're looking for;
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Transport Manager CPC is essential
Knowledge of all aspects of fleet management
Knowledge of ADR strongly desirable
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance planning / workshop management desirable
Planning and organisational skills
Personnel Management
Ideally a qualified HGV Driver (Class I or Class II, LGV C+E or LGV C)
