Description:
We are hiring for an experienced Transport Administrator/Planner based in Telford.
* Mon-Fri/4 on 4 off
* 08:00-17:00/06:30-18:30
* Temporary contract
* Must have previous administration experience
* Transport planning experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and allocate daily routes for drivers
* Monitor live operations and resolve any issues or delays
* Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams
* Ensure legal and company compliance, including WTD and driver hours
* Maintain accurate records and update systems in real time
* Contribute to continuous improvements in planning processes
* General Administration tasks
* Support the wider operations team when required
* Liase with drivers as and when required making outbound and taking inbound calls
About You:
* Previous transport plannng experience preferred
* Must have administration experience
* Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
* Proficient with Microsoft Packages
* A team player with strong organisational skills
