Transport Administrator - Avonmouth - Up to £25,000
Our client, who are an independent transport operation are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their operation in Avonmouth, UK.
As Transport Administrator, you'll be reporting to the Operations Manager where you will play an influential part in liaising and networking with customers, drivers and other personnel within the business.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00am to 18:00pm
Salary: Up to £25,000
Day-to-day:
Monitoring of emails
Answering the phone to customers and drivers
Customer service
Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
Liaising regularly with drivers
Uploading PODS
Perform and correctly implement General Administration
Running missing POD reports
Chasing other parties for PODS
Drivers Debrief
Route planning
Requirements:
Experience in a UK Transport environment (preferred)
Experience in an administrator role or similar
Good phone manner
Right to work in the UK
