Role: As a Transport Administrator successful candidate will be Responsible for the despatch of the drivers and subcontractors’ paperwork, with providing the highest level of customer service.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday,

Rotational Shift:

06:00 - 14:30

13:30 - 22:00

Responsibilities:

* Engage with all external customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that they are left with a lasting positive impression of our delivery service.

* Answering and responding to all incoming calls in a prompt and polite manner.

* Ensure that any external customer’s queries or concerns are dealt with in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, following the relevant company guidelines.

* Ensure inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.

* Booking in of external collections

* Responsible for checking haulier invoices

* Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet needs of Transport Administration.

* Participate as an effective and willing team member in order to achieve individual and team goals.

* Ensure that the Health and Safety of yourself, Customers and Colleagues is not at risk, by taking all reasonable steps to ensure safety in the workplace.

* Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Geographical knowledge

* Knowledge of drivers hours, regulations and legislation would be desirable but not essential

* A good standard of PC Literacy

* Able to accurately complete paperwork

* Proven ability to work well within a team

* Previous administration experience would be advantageous but not essential

* Previous experience working in Transport Environment
