Restore Datashred is currently seeking a Transit Driver to join our dynamic team. As a vital part in our operation, you will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and secure collection and delivery of goods.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing top-notch customer service, we want you on our team!
You will safely and efficiently operate transit vehicles for the collection and delivery of goods as well as uphold the highest standards of customer service, serving as a key ambassador for Datashred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Loading and unloading your vehicle at customer sites and our depot
* Collecting confidential items and documents from customer sites
* Uphold professional conduct and positive demeanour in all customer interactions
* Safeguard confidential information and materials, maintaining security protocols at all times
* Provide updates to team members, and to work collaboratively with the warehouse and production teams
ABOUT YOU
* Full UK driving licence with up to a maximum of 3 points and no previous driving bans
* Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is a plus however not required
* Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all time
* Must be physically fit and able to load and unload items from the van as will be dealing with loads weighing up to 35kg
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good timekeeping and organisational skills
