Role: Transactional Finance Team Leader

Salary: Up to £40,000

Location: Hybrid Remote / Cannock

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

Horizon Care has an opportunity for a Transactional Finance Team Leader to join our team based in Cannock.

About the role:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Continuously assess existing financial processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
Oversee the end-to-end process of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
Lead and mentor a team providing guidance and support.
Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify opportunities for professional development.

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

A good working knowledge of VAT accounting requirements and processes would be an advantage

Desirable:

Experienced qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
