Trainer / Instructor / Assessor – 6955
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
UK-wide travel and occasional international travel required
Hours: Full-time
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:45
45-minute lunch break
Flexibility required for travel and occasional overnight stays, up to one week
Salary: £28,000 – £40,000
Key Responsibilities of a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor
* Deliver classroom and practical training across a range of industry sectors.
* Train and assess candidates to recognised industry standards.
* Travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas to deliver customer training.
* Work closely with customers to understand and meet their training requirements.
* Promote the company's services professionally while working on customer sites.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practice and health and safety legislation.
Key Skills of a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor
* Previous experience delivering training or assessments within relevant industry sectors.
* Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Customer-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Criteria of a Trainer / Instructor / Assessor
* Minimum three years' relevant industry experience.
* Teaching, Instructor or Train the Trainer qualification.
* Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and general Health & Safety qualification, such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
* Relevant operator and/or instructor licences.
* Valid passport where required.
* Able to pass a DBS check and obtain required security clearances.
Advantageous Experience
Experience delivering training in areas such as:
* Working at Height, Confined Spaces and Manual Handling.
* Lifting Operations, including overhead, jib and gantry cranes.
* NRSWA Street Works and Utility Sector training.
* Material Handling Equipment, Plant Equipment and Machinery.
* Health & Safety, including NEBOSH, IOSH and CCNSG.
* Abrasive Wheels, Power Tools and Construction Operations.
* First Aid and Fire Safety.
