Trainee/Assistant Estimator – Leading Specialist Contractor
My Client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering complex construction, civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. With over 40 years’ experience, they provide end-to-end project delivery, from demolition and groundworks through to commercial construction, refurbishment and specialist installations. Working with major blue-chip clients, they have built a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
They are seeking a Trainee/Assistant Estimator to join their team at their Colchester office.
Trainee/Assistant Estimator – Leading Specialist Contractor
Duties:
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with tenders and estimates.
* Reviewing drawings and specifications.
* Preparing material and labour take-offs.
* Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations.
* Supporting the Estimating team with pricing and cost analysis.
Trainee/Assistant Estimator – Leading Specialist Contractor
Ideal Candidate:
* Graduate or someone with some construction/commercial experience.
* Quantity Surveying, Construction or Civil Engineering background desirable.
* Strong numerical and IT skills with good attention to detail.
* Keen to learn and build a career in estimating.
* Full training and support provided.
Salary
The salary on offer for this role is up to £30k +package, dependent upon previous experience.
