Trainee Window Fitter / Service Engineer
3 Shires is a friendly local family run glazing business established in 2001 who have a tremendous reputation for the quality of the work they do and excellent customer satisfaction. Core business includes the installation of windows, doors, conservatories, roof line drainage, thermal roofs, and small building projects.
Position: Trainee Window Installer / Service Engineer
Location: Olney, Buckinghamshire (will involve travel up to 80 miles to client sites)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm, Mon-Fri
Salary: Dependant on experience
Benefits: 28 days holiday per annum
Responsibilities:
Install windows, doors, conservatories and other small building projects.
Service calls and remedial works.
Other works as required.
Continual improvement to aid both efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
About You:
No previous experience as a Window Fitter is necessary — full training will be provided to the right candidate.
A friendly, customer-focused approach, comfortable representing the company professionally in customers' homes or on site.
A team player who is hard working, diligent, logically minded and with a keen eye for detail.
Someone who is competent with manual tasks. You may have experience or training in other trades.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, working at height, and working outdoors in all weathers.
Willing to work towards an MTC card or similar industry qualification if not already held (not essential, as this can be arranged).
A full, valid driving licence.
You may have experience of the following: Window Fitter, Windows & Doors Installer, Windows Installer, Door Installer, Window Fitter, Door Fitter, Conservatory Fitter, Installation Engineer, Mobile Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Doors, Windows, Locksmith, Field Service Engineer, etc.
