About the Job
Are you looking to kickstart your career in the automotive industry? We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our team in Sittingbourne. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in assessing vehicle damage accurately and professionally, contributing to our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess a diverse range of vehicles using Audatex to determine repair costings and time requirements.
* Liaise effectively with insurance engineers and customers, providing clear and concise assessments.
* Create accurate damage assessments in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 standards, adhering to prescribed repair methods.
* Plan your workload efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely vehicle repairs.
* Work diligently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of workmanship at all times.
* Follow manufacturers' specifications meticulously to ensure quality repairs.
* Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate initiative when working independently.
* Remain flexible in your approach, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
* Uphold a commitment to continuous improvement, consistently striving for high standards and customer satisfaction.
