Position: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Location: Prescot
Start Date: September 2024
Hourly Pay: £12.90

Role Overview:
A large two-form entry primary school are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in education and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
Support pupils with their learning activities, providing guidance and encouragement.
Help maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Assist with the supervision of children during playtime, lunchtimes, and school outings.
Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Provide support to children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
Help with the assessment and recording of pupils' progress.
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:

Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Reliability, patience, and a positive attitude.
Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
A relevant qualification or a willingness to work towards one (desirable).
